Staying at the MICHELIN Guide-Listed Manila Marriott Hotel

After spending the first two days of my Manila trip on a brand trip, I checked in to Manila Marriott Hotel for the remaining three days. This time, I had no itinerary to follow and no plans to visit different places. I simply wanted to slow down and enjoy the hotel.

My friend and I only went out once during my stay, and that was on the second-to-last day. The rest of the time, I stayed in and made the most of everything the hotel had to offer. Looking back, I think that was the best way to experience Manila Marriott Hotel.

The hotel is located at Newport World Resorts in Pasay City and is one of the hotels recognized by the MICHELIN Guide, making it an excellent choice whether you’re visiting Manila for business, leisure, or even a staycation.

Breakfast at M Café

Every morning started with breakfast at M Café, and I looked forward to it every single day.

The buffet has an impressive selection of local and international dishes, but what stood out to me was the variety. Whether you’re craving Filipino breakfast favorites, freshly baked pastries, fruits, or healthier options, there are plenty of choices. Even after having breakfast there for three mornings, I still found myself trying something different each day.

The service was just as impressive. Everyone at M Café was welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help, making each breakfast even more enjoyable.

My Favorite Spot: The Executive Lounge

If I had to choose my favorite place in the hotel, it would be the Executive Lounge on the second floor of the West Wing.

I found myself going there several times a day because it was much quieter than the other areas of the hotel. It was the perfect place to enjoy coffee, afternoon refreshments, or evening cocktails and hors d’oeuvres without the usual crowd.

It became my go-to spot whenever I wanted to relax before heading back to my room.

For Marriott Bonvoy Platinum, Titanium, and Ambassador Elite members, Executive Lounge access is complimentary. You can also enjoy the lounge by booking an Executive Room.

Keeping My Routine

Even while traveling, I try to stay consistent with my workouts.

The fitness center overlooks Villamor Golf Club, so instead of looking at buildings while exercising, you’re greeted with a beautiful view of greenery. It definitely made every workout more enjoyable.

After each session, I’d spend some time in the sauna before getting ready for the day. It was a great way to recharge before heading out.

A Room with a View

One of my favorite parts of the stay was simply spending time in my room.

The view overlooking Villamor Golf Club was something I never got tired of. With all the greenery surrounding the hotel, it was easy to forget that I was right in the middle of Metro Manila.

Whether it was early in the morning or late at night, I always found myself looking outside and appreciating how peaceful everything felt.

Wonderful Hospitality Always

Throughout my stay, the service was consistently excellent.

From the front desk to the staff at M Café and even room service, everyone was friendly, accommodating, and professional. Every request was handled quickly, and every interaction made me feel genuinely welcome.

It’s the kind of hospitality that makes you want to come back.

Final Thoughts

I originally planned to spend my last three days in Manila simply relaxing before flying home, and Manila Marriott Hotel turned out to be the perfect place to do exactly that.

Between the excellent breakfast at M Café, the quiet Executive Lounge, my morning workouts overlooking Villamor Golf Club, and the warm hospitality throughout my stay, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end my trip.
