WWhat does it mean to escape? We may be escaping from people, work or to sticky situations. Maybe all of it at some point in our lives. But whatever the reason, one thing is for sure we all want a getaway. Sometimes.

CEBU REACHABLE GETAWAY

It’s not that hard to escape from the bustling city life of Cebu. There are lots, I mean dozens, of choices. You can go to the next island of Mactan and experience the luxurious resorts there. You can also go to the south of Cebu and have fun-filled trademark adventures like Canyoneering or climb the highest peak of the entire Cebu: the Osmeña peak. Or better yet, you might get a legitimate escape and go to the islands of Bantayan or Carnaza where there nobody can even dare to stop you from having that most wanted vacation.

I would love to go back to those places especially the Carnaza Island but I was craving a different kind of escape. At those moments, the above mentioned weren’t reachable. I just want to stay in Cebu City. I want a getaway that is pretty much very accessible. An #EscapeWithinReach  if you will.

CEBU CITY’S ESCAPE WITHIN REACH

The first thought that came to mind: Montebello Villa Hotel. Where else? No doubt because of their luxurious arches, crystal clear blue pools, Morocco/ Spanish ambience and most importantly, the sumptuous and lush gardens. 

PLODDING MONTEBELLO TIME

There is one thing I always realize when I’m at Montebello Villa Hotel. It is that perhaps time comes across as it is running so slow at this hotel. This is not my first time but when I’m in there I always perceive this fact. It is so chill. Probably because of the vibe and the maybe due of it is always Summer or Spring at this paradise.

SUMMER READY AT THE FOREVER SUMMER

Two days of pure escape and so I packed a lot of Summer-ready clothes. One thing is for sure, I want to maximize the opportunity to be able to create a lot of content. Montebello Villa Hotel has a lot of Instagram-worthy spots and I want to capture all of them beauty.
