LLast February 18, 2017, Shangri-La Mactan Resort and Spa invited me for their latest offering of Mugnâ. Shangri-La Mactan’s Mugnâ. Mugnâ, which means to create in the Cebuano language, is a venue for the showcasing of the creations of Cebuano designers who also have a reach internationally.

MIRANDA KONSTANTINIDOU

This time they showcased Miranda Konstantinidou. She became internationally known through her “KONPLOTT” jewelry brand. In 2012, she introduced her high fashion Resort & Cruise Collection creating lots of attention, a symbiosis of fashion, jewelry and accessories.

Today she has more than 1,300 employees worldwide, 99% of them are women. She has headquarters in Cebu, Philippines and in Luxembourg.

A COLLECTION FIT FOR SHANGRI-LA

The Shangri-La’s lobby was the runway for her show. The statement necklaces, earrings, and eyewear were paired with bold colored resort chic dresses.  The collection perfectly fits the glamorous Shangri-La Mactan. Nothing is out-of-place. Women will really feel like they can wear the clothes and accessories right away and frolic the resort’s premises.
