My Experience at Starbucks’ Coffee Tasting Event in Cebu
This October, I had the pleasure of attending a unique coffee tasting event at Starbucks ReserveTM in Ayala Malls Central Bloc Cebu in celebration of International Coffee Month. The event was not just about savoring exceptional coffee but also about immersing myself in the rich artistry and culture surrounding it. I even tried making latte art myself!
Starbucks Milano Duetto was the star of the show. Crafted by master roasters at the Milano Roastery, this pairing features two distinct brews: Milano Sole and Milano Luna. I was delighted to experience both! Milano Sole brought a delightful sweetness with notes of creamy vanilla custard and pomegranate, while Milano Luna offered a richer, more robust flavor with dark chocolate truffle and roasted black walnut undertones. Each sip was a reminder of Milan’s coffee heritage and the balance of tradition and innovation.
The event also showcased the talents of Kent Dela Cruz, the 2024 Regional Barista Championship Representative, who guided us through the tasting process. Watching Adrian Santos, the 2023 Latte Art Champion, create stunning designs on our coffee was a highlight. His mastery of latte art transformed each drink into a work of art, reminding me of the beauty and skill involved in crafting the perfect cup.
Starbucks Reserve™ is committed to delivering exceptional coffee experiences, and this event truly exemplified that commitment. With exclusive beverages like Shakerato Bianco and Cold Brew Malt, I left feeling inspired and eager to return for another round of delightful brews.
As I reflected on my experience, I realized that coffee is more than just a drink; it’s a way to connect with culture and people. This event was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate that connection while enjoying some of the best coffee I’ve ever tasted. I can’t wait to visit Starbucks Reserve™ again and dive deeper into their rich coffee offerings!
