Foodpanda Cebu Brings Holiday Care through “Pasko Na, We Gotchu: Christmas PANDAriwang”

Foodpanda Cebu brought its Christmas advocacy to life through “Pasko Na, We Gotchu: Christmas PANDAriwang,” an outreach program that delivered warmth and support to patients and hospital frontliners in Cebu City. The initiative focused on Cebu City Medical Center, a major public hospital that has been serving a high patient volume, especially after recent calamities.

Fruit Baskets, Warm Meals, and Plushie Gifts

As part of Foodpanda’s holiday campaign anchored on community care and public–private partnership, volunteers visited multiple wards to distribute fruit baskets, while partner riders delivered hundreds of ready-to-eat meals to patients and medical staff. Younger patients also received plushie gifts that added a moment of surprise and comfort to their day.

Recognizing Frontliners and Hospital Staff

The outreach highlighted the essential workers who stand by patients daily. Doctors, nurses, and security personnel were given warm meals as a gesture of gratitude for their service during the busy holiday season. Pau-Pau, Foodpanda’s mascot, joined the volunteers for room-to-room visits, greeting families and contributing to the cheerful atmosphere within the hospital.
