HHave you heard of liveaboard? To those who haven’t, it is pretty simple. It just means living aboard your yacht or any boat, making it a primary residence. Recently, it has become my dream. Well… to experience that life for several days is the dream. The thought actually scares me but at the same time, it makes me giddy with excitement.
IMAGINE THAT
Why wouldn’t you feel giddy? Imagine this. Having my morning coffee while you gaze at the sunset or sunrise in the middle of the vast sea. Imagine visiting new and different places every couple of days, experiencing one and moving on to the next. With the modern technology, worrying about the lack of Internet connectivity is foolish because it is totally possible that we’re sailing to the next destination while browsing through the web with our cell phones and watch Netflix. Imagine all that but how do you get all these?
DIVE ADVENTURES ASIA
I’ve been searching and researching online and I found Dive Adventures Asia. It is basically a hub for booking complete liveaboard diving packages. It is like reserving a seat for a movie theater and the closest thing would be like booking a hotel room. It is that simple. They’ll guide you through it all for our dream to embark on our dream to any beautiful places in the world. I meant everything, Burma, Indonesia, Komodo, Thailand, of course, Philippines and other exciting liveaboard diving spots but what I was really excited about was the Maldives.
MALDIVES: THE DREAM
Who wouldn’t want to go to Maldives? As you’ve probably seen on Instagram, Maldives boasts rich culture, beautiful architecture, the most sumptuous food and lastly, the 96 km long and 33 km wide Ari Atoll. It is home to more than 70 awe-inspiring islands and a vast area of open ocean and lagoons. We can surely expect nothing less than high adrenaline filled diving with schooling pelagic’s, massive Manta’s, feeding Whale Sharks, enticing wrecks, schooling eagle rays, and a variety of oceanic sharks. November through April is the advised time to travel because of the overall weather. This also means we can still book and save for this trip!
I’m seriously planning to try to make this dream come to materialize. There are many hindrances, of course. I even don’t know how to dive but I am willing to learn! All this because the world, especially Asia, is rich with amazing diving spots and it is such a waste not to explore them and meet the wildlife within it. That is why I am sharing it you guys, as well. I want us all to experience the diving scene of Asia.
See you soon. Hopefully in our diving suits and gears!
