WAKING UP LIKE ROYALTY AT AMORITA RESORT BOHOL
I I have to be honest, I haven’t heard of Amorita Resort before we was actually on our way to the property. Maybe I’m living under a rock or something because it is something to behold like Lloyd and Behold. Haha! Kidding aside, Amorita Resort is a world-class resort. It is something to be proud of and sad to say, I only heard of or experienced it just recently.

AMORITA PRINCE
I was thinking “Why so?”. Why haven’t I heard much about it through my inner circle or even on my social media? Ideas flooded my mind and the most prominent one is… maybe it is very exclusive. I mean, I think their market is the upper class, the super exclusive. And I think I am right. When I entered our own bedroom, it is very luxe. For crying out loud, the walls of our room was marble. Haha! Not to mention, Amorita Resort is the only Philippine Resort in the Conde Nast Johansens’ Excellence Awards 2017 and is shortlisted under the Best for Service category. Now, that is the reason felt like I was royalty at Amorita Resort. 😉
THE BEST ALONA BEACH VIEW
We were greeted by mysterious-looking gates, as we went to Amorita Resort the next day after we stayed at Momo Beach House, the placed I blogged just recently. The two resorts are part of the same collection of resorts across the Philippines. It was clear that we were going inside a special place. It had a simple yet elegant lobby but when you go further, you’ll see an infinity pool that has the best view of Alona Beach. What makes it really beautiful is that the resort is elevated atop so you can really see almost all the parts of the famous beach. Another good thing is that Alona is accessible at that spot.
I’m not done yet with the “wow factor”. Another sight to behold is their newly built and longer infinity pool. Yes, they have two. Beside the 2nd pool is the Tomar Tapas x Bar which is an authentic Spanish restaurant. There we ate delicious Spanish dishes for lunch.
MODERN YET HOMEY
For me, the highlight of my stay was when we entered our rooms. I also had my fair share of wow reactions upon entering hotel/ resort rooms. This one undoubtedly adds to those memories. I like the overall interior design of the room. It is very modern yet homey. To add to that, there is also a touch of paying homage to our Filipino culture with the wooden furnishings. I also get a hint of Japanese influence with the interiors.

Overall, I really liked my stay at Amorita Resort. If there is one thing that I picked up while I was there, it would be that there are still hidden gems in Bohol. From the modern architectural aesthetic of their infrastructures, breathtaking view, sumptuous food and best staff service, I think anybody should experience Amorita at least once or better yet more than twice in their lives.
