FREEDOM AT OSMEÑA PEAK

Freedom is exactly what I felt in Osmeña Peak. Freedom feels like riding and dancing on clouds. It feels like floating on air or better yet flying high up the mountains. Freedom is invigorating; a feeling of youthfulness, and euphoria.

With its fresh cool air, peaceful atmosphere, God sculpted mountain ranges, unending sea of greens; everybody will surely be rejuvenated here. Each turn is a spectacular view that one’s eye can feast upon.

The Peak is located in Barangay Mantalungon, Municipality of Dalaguete, Cebu. It is a half hour ride by bus from the city. If in Cebu City, go to the South Bus Terminal, and find buses that will pass by Dalaguete. Upon reaching the municipality, motorcycles that are willing to drop off tourists to Barangay Mantalungon. From there, it’s a thirty minute hike. The place is a good choice for people that aren’t experienced in climbing mountains because it is quite easy to reach it. Any stress beforehand would slowly go away upon experiencing its magnificence.
